I still play CS 1.6 in 4:3 and I have black bars since I opt to maintain aspect ratio. NVidia doesn't seem to have game-specific settings for aspect ratio unlike AMD (which doesn't even work sometimes lol). WebAug 18, 2011 · Create the resolution you use for CS and set it at 75 hertz. Also, in Nvidia control panel you have an option of 'Adjust desktop size and position'. Go there and make sure it is on full-screen or aspect ratio (if you need 2 black spaces on sides) and set perform scaling on GPU. Apply settings and add -freq 75 to your launch options and start CS.
