I always kept the 1.5 version as a backup, but it seems the latest 1.8.1 seems stable. But, I still keep 1.5 just in case...

I can't keep on saving every time I remove 1 support just to be sure. Version 1.7 is very unstable and should never be released. This is not proper testing / debugging. Windows 10 64bit.
WebI got new CPU, Motherboard and RAM, (Ryzen 5600x, ASROCK Steel Legend x570, 16gb GSkill-3600). Ever since the upgrade, Lychee has been crashing within 15 seconds of start up. I thought maybe this was a issue due to corruption, so I reformatted windows, and reinstalled Lychee first, updated Win10, attempted to start up Lychee. An autosave feature, or even the ability to save project with control-s would solve this easily. I would personally recommend an autosave to a specific project file every 5 minutes.
WebFeb 16, 2024 · Anything that opens the file explorer, such as to save or open files, also crashes CHITUBOX. It didn't do it before, but now that it does, it's rendered V1.8.0 unusable. I've also had an experience where sliced files would skip part of a layer for SOME of the supports or model.

I've seen it happen with later versions. My laptop isn't the super fastest, but prior versions of Chitubox did not do this - slicing would take about 60 seconds, and saving another 10.
