Albanie lists among her influences, Fats Waller, Billie Holiday, Lester Young and especially the gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. WebALBANIE FALLETTA was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and grew up hearing live Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Gospel musics, until she relocated with family to central Texas at the age of nine. Not long after, she began taking guitar lessons with a next door neighbor and delving into the worlds of acoustic roots and electric blues, punk, and hair metal.
